Site display problems

I need your help. I updated a client’s sites recently. I also had to update the X-theme, Cornerstone, and added a php.ini file with “memory_limit = 512M;” (per instruction from your team). That worked on the Staging site. ( http://p3w.9f3.myftpupload.com/ )

But when I moved the staging site to the Production site ( http://colemediala.com/ ) I get a lot of css code displaying above the actual site. I went into the site using Filezilla and I have updated the X-theme to 6.4.6 and the Cornerstone to 3.4.6. I placed the “memory_limit = 512M;” into a php.ini file per your instructions.

I tried to delete the older version of x-theme within the WP admin and it would not allow that to happen, so there are two X-themes in there. I am also using a child theme; it is version 1.00. Is that a problem?

When logged into the Production site, the same css code and comment files display within the WordPress admin pages.

Can you help me get this site back to normal?

Thanks for asking. :slight_smile:

I suggest you to first activate Parent X Theme as the changes made in child theme might be causing the problem. As you are not able to login to the WordPress backend I suggest you to use FTP softwares like filezilla and and rename the child theme folder and see if you are able to login to the WordPress backend.

In case website is still not working and as the WordPress admin section is not working it’s difficult for us to take a closer look. Please supply some FTP informations for us to take a closer look at your website setup in secure note.

I can see the admin if I try to log in from my client’s Godaddy account. So I was able to make X-theme the active theme. That does not eliminate the offending display of code. So I switched it back to the
child theme.

Look like there was an issue with the cornerstone files. It has some missing file.
I have reinstalled the cornerstone now your website is working fine.
