Site broken not displaying elements

When i go to my site on chrome sometimes its broken and sometimes its displaying fine
I am using edge and right now it continues to stay broken on edge while displaying fine in chrome

Hello Ace,

Thanks for asking.

I checked the website and on Chrome it’s not displaying properly. I checked the dev console and can see issue of HTTP and HTTPS mismatch. Please try following:

  1. In WordPress admin open Settings > General.
  2. Make sure to include HTTPS WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL).

Thanks.

Hi

I did that but it still does not display properly in edge

Hi Ace,

It seems that there are links on the site that are not updated to https which is causing the issue.

Please install the Better Search Replace plugin then do the following:

search for http://example.com and replace it with https://example.com ; and
search for http:\/\/example.com and replace it with https:\/\/example.com

Replace example.com with the domain name of your site.

Please make sure to keep a backup of your database before making any changes.

Hope this helps.

I have done that and still no change

Hi Ace,

I notice that your site is under CloudFlare, have you cleared your CloudFlare cache? If not, please login directly on your CloudFlare dashboard and do the suggestions I’ve provided here.

Cheers!

Ahh yes the purge worked, totally forgot about the cloudflare caching

I did not quite understand the faq for this part cheaparooms.com.au/x/ could you provide very simple noob friendly instructions

You’re welcome!

Hi Ace,

Yes, that part is to exclude the builder/Cornerstone from being cache. If you did not change the default Custom Path settings under X > Settings then the trailing address for Cornerstone is /x/, and the cheaparooms.com.au is just an example, you’re supposed to change that with your site actual address. The asterisk character * are wildcards so that means any address with this pattern *cheaparooms.com.au/x/* will be excluded from being cache.

How do I exclude a specific URL from Cloudflare’s caching?

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Great thanks

You’re more than welcome, glad we could help.
