Deactivated all cache plugins and checked and still the site is broken. It appears some JS issues ?

You are using the latest Cornerstone 6.1.4 version with an outdated X theme (9.0.4). Please have it updated to version 9.1.4 instead. After doing the updates, please clear all your plugin caches before testing the site again.

But the site is currently running on Wordpress 5.5.8. whereas your recommended/supported Wordpress version is 5.7. Will this upgrade to X 9.1.4 work ?

Yes, the upgrade to X 9.1.4 will work and it is also advisable to update your WordPress core version to the latest version to avoid any security issues. Please follow the steps below on how you can properly update your website X theme.
- Disable and delete the installed Cornerstone plugin ( to avoid any issue when updating the X theme )
- Update the X theme to the latest version or you can delete the theme and upload a fresh copy from your themeco account
- Install the latest version of Cornerstone plugin, you can find the link at the upper part of your dashboard.
