I’ve gone through several topics on this subject but have not managed to find a solution. So I wish to have the post’s featured image in full width on single post page, leaving the sidebar on the right and the blog text in container, is this possible?

It will require custom CSS code if you want to have a full width featured image in your single post with your current setup. Regretfully, proving custom CSS code is outside the scope of our theme support. You may seek 3rd party developers to help you with your problems or you can avail One where we can answer questions outside of the features of our theme.
