Since update can't use Cornerstone

Hello,

Every time I click on X>Cornerstone I end up in an error page “HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found
The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.”
I couldn’t find what I did wrong and how to correct it.
What should I do? Where should I look for the resource needed to check if it’s in the right place?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi @ZulyRouge,

Please navigate to Settings > Permalinks, make sure the Common Settings option is Postname.

After that clicking on the Save changes button then check again.

If it doesn’t help, please provide us with login credentials(by clicking on the Secure Note button at the bottom) so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

  • Link login to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password

Thanks.

It didn’t work, I wrote the credentials in the secure note.
Might the fact that I enabled a service from my host called SSL DV to move the website from http to https have affected Cornerstone? I disabled the service but it did’t work anyway.
I also tried to delete and re-install the Cornerstone plugin but no results.

Hi @ZulyRouge,

I could see that you’re using the IIS Microsoft server for your website. I recommend you to contact your hosting provider to fix this issue. There might be an issue with the mod_rewrite or URL config.

For more information, please take a look at this:

Hope it helps

I already contacted them, unfortunately they’re not efficient as you are. :persevere:
I will try to suggest them your idea of what might be the issue.
Thanks anyway.

You are most welcome!
