Simple Button with URL Parameter

Hi,

i have tried to add /yacht-charter-greece/?destination=bvigreece to a simple button.
But if i open the preview the “?destination=bvigreece” is lost and its only /yacht-charter-greece/

I would be great if you could help me.
Thanks

Hi Tobi,

Thanks for reaching out.
Adding a slash in front of this link will open the parent folder. I would suggest you use the link with the slash in front. The URL should be yacht-charter-greece/?destination=bvigreece.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Hi,

thanks for your fast reply. But the problem still exits. I duplicated the button and moved it to another section. Now there is the URL-Parameter shown. I made a screenrecording.

Hi Tobi,

Unfortunately, the video is not loading and we can’t see it. Can you please reshare it through Dropbox or Google drive?

Thanks

Oh sorry. Here with google drive:

Hi Tobi,

The video shows the URL on hover but does not explain the issue you are having while trying to visit the URL. Can you please share the URL along with the login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

As I mentioned before, I duplicated the button with URL-Parameter and copied it to another section.
The Video shows the duplicated button on hover with the URL-Parameter and the original which lost the URL-Parameter.
I hope this helps.

Hi Tobi,

It is understandable that you have duplicated the Button element, but unfortunately, I didn’t find the page where you have added this section for further investigation. Can you please specify the page where you have added this? I have also created a test page and added the URL into the Button element, and it worked even in duplicated elements.

Can you please check and confirm once again that you are still facing the same issue?

Thanks

Here is a screenshot from cornerstone. I hope this helps

Hi Tobi,

I have investigated thoroughly and found that you have set the URL to the column as shown in the given screenshot. Please select div as the HTML tag and check.

Thanks

Hey,

what a stupid mistake.

Thanks for your help.
