Sidebar on single post only

Hello,
Is it possible to only have my sidebar on my single post page but to have full-width content on my blog index page? I understand it is better to use php to do this but have only found code for a sidebar on the blog index and not the single post which is the opposite of what I want. If only my understanding of php were better…

Thank you
Jane

Hello @livecookeat,

Thanks for writing in!

Yes. You can do this without PHP coding by:

1.) Set the template of your Blog page to Layout - Fullwidth.

2.) Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Blog > Layout > Full Width.

Just a side note, if you wanted to add custom sidebars where you can control what images, text, or content to show, please check the Unlimited Sidebars feature:
