Show sidebar on some posts with global layout of full-width

Hi! I have the global layout setting to full width and don’t want to show the sidebar on any posts except certain ones. So I edited the child theme template and added the following option:

// TEMPLATE NAME: Layout - Content Left, Sidebar Right //Template Post Type: post, page, product, work

And the template options shows up on the posts but when I select it the post still shows full width.

Am I missing a step somewhere? Thanks!

Hi @suzannereid,

Thank you for writing in, please set the Layout and Design > Content Layout to Content left, Sidebar right or Sidebar left, Content right., then you can enable the Fullwidth Post Layout to the posts that need to be fullwidth.

Thanks–is there no way to bulk edit posts?

Thanks for updating the thread. :slight_smile:

For pages you have option to bulk edit the same and change the layout to full width. However, in WordPress for posts as of now there’s no bulk edit option.
