Show current page in header menu

Hello! For this website, we have a Layered menu in the header:

Appliance Repair Training | Fred's Appliance Academy

When you navigate to a sub-menu page like

Appliance Technician Aptitude Tests | Fred's Appliance Academy

when the menu is clicked in the header, it shows the main menu first, then you have to click on Industry Resources to get to the page that we are currently on.

we would like to show the sub-menu the page is located in when clicking on the menu in the header. See image for what should show up when clicking the menu button one time. How can we get this to happen on any sub-menu page?

Unfortunately, the feature you are looking for is not available in theme. You need custom development to achieve this.
Regretfully, that is something out of our theme support scope. We would suggest you to please get help from a developer to do this.
