Should element's ID be copied while duplicating?

Just a thought for Themeco Staff.
I recently copied one element like 10 times and after a long while noticed that it’s ID (added via Customize panel) was copied as well. Fortunately it didn’t cause any issues on my website, but maybe ID filed shouldn’t be copied as it is made to be unique? As a dev I know it is not forbidden to set such, but you know, it’s ID… Just a thought to consider.
