Shortlink not appearing

i am using a multisite with subfolder.
One website is working normal but the main site tarekrabaa.com is not showing wordpress shortlink when editing post.
do you know why? the second website is showing normally the shortlink

Are you using a specific plugin or custom code to show this “shortlink” button? because it was removed since WordPress 4.4, please check this tutorial to know about many ways that would help you get it back.

The issue is that the shortlink appears on my subfolder tarekrabaa.com/en and not appearing on the main site.
i tried some plugin to get back the shortlink , it works but with another format (not wp-,)

I am using Sassy plugin for social sharing on the main site. i deactivated and still the original shortener doesn’t appear

Hello there,

Kindly check if your site doesn’t have the WP.me Shortlinks module enabled in Jetpack.

To get that Get Shortlink button back, go to the Jetpack> Dashboard page on your Wordpress dashboard. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Debug link.

Then, look for the link that says Access the full list of Jetpack modules available on your site.

Scroll down and look for WWP.me Shortlinks and enable it.
