Shortcodes in Accordions

Hi,

I learned from this thread ( link below ) that the new V2 Elements do not generate shortcode that can be used inside an accordion.

Can I still use shortcode generated by Classic Elements for this purpose?

Hello There,

Please keep ind mind that v2 shortcodes that you copied from the text editor will not display inside the accordion or any other element. Only classic element shortcodes will work. You can find all the list of classic element shortcodes from here: http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/

Thanks RueNel, I appreciate the info. Seems like we’re losing some useful functionality with the new V2 elements :frowning: Was this a deliberate decision? Having said that, I understand we can now use Global Blocks for this purpose?

Hi,

Due to the settings that are available for v2 elements it is not quite ideal to create a shortcode equivalent.
Yes, please use Global blocks instead.
