Shortcode in Content Area Modal

Is there anyway to get a shortcode to work in a Content Area Modal?

Hello Jonathan,

Thanks for asking.

Yes, you can have shortcodes into Content Area model element. All you need to do is add the shortcode into Content Area Model element. I have recorded a screencast that you can take a look.

Thanks.

Sorry. I completely left out that I want it to work inside of the Pro Header.

Hi Jonathan,

it should work fine in the Header builder as well.

Can you please go here http://146.66.100.120/~traillif/shop/
Click on the search icon in the menu and you’ll see the shortcode raw code instead of the search bar.

Why isn’t it working?

I disabled all plugins and it still doesn’t work.

Hello Jonathan,

Thanks for updating the thread.

I see that the idea is to have WooCommerce search in the model element and for that [woocommerce_product_search] shortcode is being used. I checked your website and don’t see WooCommerce Product Search plugin active. Please note that, in order for this shortcode to work, you will have to purchase and install WooCommerce Product Search plugin.

Please take a look at following article for more information.

Thanks.

That makes sense. Thank you!

No problem, glad you’re all sorted now!
