Shortcode Embed Issues

Hello. I am needing to know the best way to embed shortcodes. I am trying to utilize the Woocommerce Product Slider Pro plugin on our site. I was able to add a product slider in via the raw content element with no issues (have also tried it in Text). I created another V2 section and added a category slider but it is messing with the Cornerstone preview – the headline is HUGE and the slider doesn’t show in Cornerstone or the live site. if I swap the sections I have refreshed the V2 style cache, purged the site cache, and hard refreshed the browser cache and tried it in three different browsers to no avail. I’ve tried swapping the position of the sections and it seems Cornerstone only wants to recognize the first available shortcode and ignores the rest. Please help! I’m needing to get these sliders up ASAP!

I have another site where I needed to embed a menu from Baker and the same thing happened. The embedded code/shortcode “breaks” Cornerstone. Initially it previews correctly, but when the window is refreshed all backgrounds throughout the page are missing, alignments are random, etc.

Thanks for writing in! Could you please try increasing your PHP memory limit by following our guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-increasing-php-memory-limit/16935).

Then if you’re using a caching plugin, make sure to purge your server cache and re-testing your issue again.

Thank you for replying, @mldarshana. I’ve increased the memory limit (actually set to 768) and the server php is also 768 (what the host automatically has it set to). I purged server cache and V2 style cache and it still is not working.

FYI, because I cannot wait until this issue is resolved I actually replicated the page using WP Bakery. All works perfectly fine there, no issues whatsoever, which strongly leads me to believe it is a Cornerstone issue. I still have the Cornerstone-based page archived and would still like to continue troubleshooting this issue as I like using Cornerstone and the majority of my sites/pages are created using it. And, I think it’s important that XTheme knows there is a critical issue here.

In this case, please setup a staging copy of your site and give us the following details:

  1. URL of the page where this is happening
  2. WordPress Admin access to your staging site
