Short Code Not Working

I’m trying to insert a button into a text element but it’s not working. Here’s the button code I’m using:

[button type=“real” shape=“square” size=“mini” href="#example" title=“Example”]Square Button[/button]

When I insert this into a text element the code displays instead of the button. I’ve tried inserting the code into classic and new text elements, content areas, raw content but the code is always displayed.

I know this used to work. I’ve done it frequently.

I’ve tried disabling all plugins except Cornerstone; always the same result.

Cornerstone 3.0.4 in a non-X theme.

Thanks for asking.

It seems that you are using standalone version of Cornerstone. Please note that above short-code won’t work in standalone version of Cornerstone and will display plan codes in the front end. For that you need X Theme along with Cornerstone.

Oh, I see. I guess in the past I was always using the X or Pro themes. Thanks for the quick reply.
