Hi

I have purchased 3 copies of theme x and built the first two sites. I am trying to keep all the branding across sites similar and wanted social icons in posts (sections of page) I used the following shot codes on the first site and copied these on to the second (and also added the CSS) :

[share title=”Share” facebook=”true” twitter=”true” google_plus=”true” linkedin=”true” pinterest=”true” email=”true”]

My problem is that on the latest site I have added the shortcake and CSS and it just showing as written test. Can you help please

Hi there,

Please try to double double checking that you are using the correct quotes in the shortcode like this:

[share title="Share" facebook="true" twitter="true" google_plus="true" linkedin="true" pinterest="true" email="true"]

Kindly also try adding it in a Raw Content element.

Hi yes I was using the right shortcode and also put in a raw content element. Its still just shows as the [share title=“Share” facebook=“true” twitter=“true” google_plus=“true” linkedin=“true” pinterest=“true” email=“true”]

Could you have a look please its baffling me (info in secure note)

Hi there,

Please try logging in through FTP and go to wp-content/plugins and delete the current cornerstone directory that is in there then log back in to the admin area and Cornerstone should be reinistalled automatically then try adding the shortcode in a page again.

Let us know how it goes.

The shortcode is deprecated. It should be this:

[x_share title="Share" facebook="true" twitter="true" google_plus="true" linkedin="true" pinterest="true" email="true"]
