How do I get my shopping cart to show how many items are in the cart after the customer adds them? Thank you. My website is donutsdatrock.com

Thanks for asking. I am assuming that you are looking to display number of items added in header cart icon. Unfortunately as of now that’s not possible. We have already taken this as a feature request to integrate this feature in future releases.

Hi @Prasant - any ETA on this from your team? REALLY anxious to roll this out now that it’s 2018… I know so many of use utilize X/Pro for eComm and would hate to revert to the basic headers JUST to have the cart counter! The Pro header offers so much flexibility. .except for this 1 major missing piece.

@Prasant- I appreciate your straight-forward answer, and yes I understand. I will be watching the Changelog daily.

…coming on February… y’all have an update coming soon with a simple (2)[cart icon] style counter function for Pro Headers? Hate to develop something thats around the corner… or revert to standard headers!

Hi guys-
With June approaching, I’m concerned this feature may never come!
Where do I see a list of feature requests that are planned to roll out?
Most of us asking for this would even settle for a simple ‘( 1 )’ to the left of the cart!
Do you know if WooCommerce has a shortcode for a default cart counter we can place in the header for now?

Please understand that the feature requests are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.

Displaying the cart items in the header could be display possibly with the help of 3rd party plugins. You might want to check this out: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/cart+menu/

Hi RueNel-

I’ve worked with a variety of plugins, and none of them give us the ability to drop a shortcode into Pro’s header builder to give us the cart counter functionality I’m looking for… which is super elementary. Any idea if this can be added as a feature? Suited simply cannot be the only group looking for Themeco to add this fundamental functionality! It is best if this comes from the theme, but if it cant or wont, I’ll have my dev’s work on a feature for this.
