Shipping choices not showing in cart and shipping value not showing in checkout

Hey guys its me again form Nailcrazy.com

first of all big big thanks for my previous problem re new slider Update not working -
Luckilly i have the plugin Updraft Plus installed and i had some backups i found i had set up to do onn google drive and i managed to find a backup and I resotred just the pluigns ( which took a while ) but worked ( only then all the order plugins were outdated and there were a lot to fix - but i now have Slider Revolution 6.2.15.

I saw that many helped on the post i made here and i just want to confrn if i can now update to the new version 6.2.21

I just need to make usre it will not brake my site again.

now i have another issue i hope is a small one and i hope its a simple fix.
im noticing now on my shop when i have items in the cart - and i am in the cart before i had the default which showed the shipping and how to calculate shipping when choosing the shipping country . .( and the shipping methods i have - 'registerd post by weight , local pickup etc… ’ - ( these do not show up. )

and in the checkout page ( i use registered post by weight ) and before the shipping would show up as shipping and give the value calcultated by the plugin…

now the shipping box is gone ( but i think the shipping is still worked out …
as you can see in the pics.

Please advise :]

Thanks for reaching out.

Although it is not in the scope of our support, still I would suggest you check that whether the Shipping Calculator on Cart Page option is not enabled from WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping Options. Please find the screenshot describing the setting.

If it is enabled already and you still not able to get the option for shipping, in that case, I would recommend you troubleshoot a few common issues, which may be the cause of the issue you are seeing.

1. Testing for Plugin conflict
2. Child Theme Issue

If you discover that an issue is coming from custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
I would also suggest you test by switching to any other theme, to be sure that the issue is with the X theme, if you found that switching to other theme resolve the issue please provide the login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Admin URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

hi guys thanks for the heads up. . . i was in Shipping options and to my understanding and understood that i had to keep the boxes ticked and enabled

Calculations Enable the shipping calculator on the cart page

Hide shipping costs until an address is entered

as it so happens i actually 'unticked them now ’ - like the picutre and the shipping appeared on cart and checkout as expected…

So you are a genious and it solved the problem :]] - for both local shipping and foreign :]]

once again i take my hat off to you guys for your keen efforts and help:]]
