Shape overlay in Revolution Slider

Hi, I want to add a transparent shape over my video to darken it but the shape only extends the width of the grid. How can I get it to extend the full width no matter what the screen size is? The video is on a separate layer

I recommend using the “Dotted Overlay” feature in Slider Revolution. Please check this tutorial to know how to use it.

I know about the dotted overlay but it is not what I am looking for. I want to darken the video more than that so my text really stands out. What do you recommend?

Hi There,

If you set a rentagunlar shape layer that goes way beyond your width and height it should cover it.

Try setting the shape to 2500px vs 2500px let us know how it goes
