Several problems with Woocommerce

Hi guys,

I have cloned my production site to a staging domain in order to setup a small Woocommerce store. However, I faced several problems and would need some help:

  1. At Woocommerce Home page there is a text “There was an error getting your inbox. Please try again.”
  2. Occasionally I get “HTTP ERROR 500” and “There Has Been a Critical Error on Your Website” when using Woocommerce at WP admin site.
  3. When trying to edit any page in Cornerstone I get an error: “The preview could not load due to the iframe response being incomplete. This is most often related to a plugin conflict, or customizations introducing a PHP error.” This started
  4. Woo Checkout Editor plugin does not have any effect on the checkout page and does not even reflect the fields correctly.

I have tried:

  • Clearing browser cache and cookies
  • Switching to parent theme
  • Deactivating all plugins (except Woocommerce)
  • Increase PHP memory limit to 512M, max_execution_time to 300, max_input_vars to 10000, post_max_size to 256M
  • Changing different PHP versions

Nothing seems to help.

I will share you the site url and credentials with a secure note.

Hey @ollipo,

I don’t see all the issue reported here on your site.

  1. There’s no text anywhere in home page and shop page the text “There was an error getting your inbox. Please try again”

  2. I have not experienced a 500 error.

  3. Cornerstone works fine.

  1. The Checkout page is not caused by the Woo Checkout Editor nor our theme. I switched to the default WordPress theme and the issue persists. That means the issue is not with our products. You need to reach out to WooCommerce support for this or you can also subscribe to our One Single Platform support to receive general WordPress support.

Hi @christian,

Thanks for looking into these.

  1. I mean Woocommerce Home page at WP admin site:
  2. It happens quite often when you move around Woocommerce in WP admin site (ie. Orders, Customers, Reports, Settings…). You can also see the fatal errors in Woocommerce -> Status -> Logs.
  3. You are right! I swear it wasn’t working yesterday. But good, we can forget that one now.
  4. Ok, thanks.

Hello @ollipo,

It seems that the given login credentials are not working at the moment on my end. In case you have changed the credentials please change the correct login details so that we can check it on our end.

Thanks

Hi @prakash_s,

Yes, sorry. Please find the new credentials in the secure note.

Hello @ollipo,

Please go to Tools > Site health > Status. You’ll have to resolve all those performance issues. You may need to contact your hosting provider to resolve some of them.

Best Regards.
