Several ESS Grid issues - not showing and not editable

Hey there,

I have several grids being used on this shop, each one for different categories.

Today when I implemented the navigation and filter sorting in some grids they stopped working.

I’ve already checked for any plugin conflict but the issue persists.

There are 2 distinct issues:

  1. Grid does not show up both in frontend and backend editor preview although there are items in selected source (product category). Editing grid options is possible but there is no preview.

  2. Grid does show up in frontend but not in editor preview. Editing grid options is not possible, clicking the buttons does nothing.

When facing issue 2) in the grid editor page, Chrome dev tools points out several js issues that do not occur when checking a working grid.

Hey there,

  1. This is because of the logic of your filter. You’re using AND. That means all criteria that you set must be met else nothing will be loaded. Please see Category Filtering in Essential Grid’s documentation.

2.Try removing custom Javascript and PHP functions and templates.

If that doesn’t help, try rebuilding your grid and also please point out the different between the working grids and the ones that don’t since we could not use the tabs and the error doesn’t point to the exact cause.
