Setting Site Max Width to none - fullwidth on posts

Hi there,

I was desperately looking for a way to set the SITE MAX WIDTH (PX) property to none. The field will only accept numbers.

Is any of the STACKS (Renew, Ehtos, etc.) build in that manner?

If not, does the following adaption of CSS look too dirty of would you consider it reasonable?

/* redefine SITE MAX WIDTH logic */

/* reset max class */
.x-container.max {
  max-width: none !important;
}

/* limit width of every section */
.x-section {
  max-width:1300px !important;
  margin: 0em auto !important;
}

/* assign this custom class for fullwidth */
.x-section.fullwidth_section {
  max-width: none !important;
}

Thank you for your take on this!
Martin

Hi Martin,

You can try with this CSS instead:

.site .x-container.max.width.offset,
.x-section.full-width .x-container.max {
    max-width: none !important;
}

Let us know how it goes!

Hi @thai,

that’s definitely more… neat! Thanks.

For anyone who would like this too: Use the full-width class on your sections to generate sections across the entire page.

Thanks a lot!

You’re welcome.
