Setting custom header to sub category archive pages

Hello,

I am using multiple headers on my site (with Pro) - and have the correct header showing up for my blog index and category archive pages, (header=“membership”) but i have recently added sub-categories, and for some reason when there is no post in the subcategory the sub-category archive pages default to the global header (header=“main”), even though i have the post index set to the header titled “membership”.

Any ideas?

Hi @SophiePeirce,

That is correct, as this is a WordPress related issue which whenever the category is empty it does not send back the correct parameters to the header to be able to keep assigned.

Unfortunately, there is no solution at the moment for this as it is a core WordPress issue, and you will need to add a sample post at least to the category.
