Hi, was this feature recently moved? I used to be able to set a featured on a post, however now the optin is no longer presented at the post edit page
Hello @BelievePursue,
Thanks for posting in!
The featured image is a WordPress default. We do not modify this feature. It is still present in your installation. You might have not able to see it because of the Gutenberg update. To find it, please do this:
- Go to your Posts > All Posts and click “edit post” link.

- Find the Settings icon to display the different post settings.

- And upload your featured image in the designated Featured Image metabox:

We would love to know if this has worked for you. Thank you.
I currently have the classic editor plugin enabled. While enabled there is no such option until I disable it
It’s a little cumbersome to activate/deactivate this for setting the featured img. Might there be a compatibility update for this in the future?
Hello @BelievePursue,
Please understand that Pro theme does not modify or has any control over the Gutenberg or your Classic Editor plugin. What I have shown in the screenshots above is using the default WordPress installation, Gutenberg and without Classic Editor plugin. Perhaps what you are experiencing is an issue with the Classic Editor plugin which is a 3rd party plugin. Or most probably, the featured image was disabled. Find the “Screen Options” and enable it back.

Hope this would help.
I’ve enabled all the options and none seem to present featured image

Hi @Contradigm,
Please note that the option you are looking for is from the Wordpress core and it is the block editor and the classic editor plugin which has nothing to do with X and Cornerstone.
It would be best to get in touch with the support for the plugins in question because this goes beyond the scope of our support.
Thank you.
Understood, thanks!
Thanks for understanding
