Hi,

when I set a featured image to my post using the nextgen gallery options

the image is not available

and need to upload the image to the media library and set the featured image from there

Hello @artisted,

Thanks for writing in! The NextGen gallery plugin is a 3rd party and is not fully supported in the theme. You will have to upload your images using the WP Media Uploader.
