SERVER REQUEST / Question about Desktop and Mobile View

I was doing some speed test, and I am not quite sure yet but will be nice if I have this feedback from the Support Team.

Pretend you have a layout breaking down in two Sections:

Section 1 -> will be load ONLY in desktop view
Section 2 -> will be load ONLY in mobile view

However, section 1 has a jQuery script that will generate 9 SERVER REQUESTs

QUESTION: if the website is load in mobile view (Section 2), does the jQuery script will be load anyway?

Hey Robert,

Are you referring to the Hide During Breakpoints feature?

If so, yes. Regretfully, that will not help with the performance of your script. Scripts load independently with CSS which the Hide During Breakpoints is using.

Hope that’s what you wanted to know regarding X.
