Select global block in portfolio item (wordpress editor)

Hi,

I have made a layout foar all my portfolio items. In this layout, there’s a global block. But now my client wants to select a specific global block for a specific portfolio item.

I also work with ACF custom fields which are showing in the wordress editor in the portfolio item. Is there a way in which a can create a ACF custom field which my client can use to select the global block for that portfolio item?

Or should i make another layout with a specific condition whichs points out to the layout with that specific global block?

Hello Jan,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully there isn’t an option that you can select the global blocks as an option in an ACF field. It may be possible with custom development. Be advised that custom development is beyond the scope of our support already. You may need to contact 3rd party developers instead.

Thanks as always for the quick reply! I figured out a solution: I’ve copied the layout for the portfolio item en selected the other global block for that layout. And with conditions i ordered this specific layout to only those portfolio items with a certain tag and this works.
