We are about to go live, and I want to know what your opinion is of CF7’s ability to defend against cross-site scripting and SQL injections .

Contact Form 7 is a free plugin that is being used by so many WordPress users, as long as you keep your Contact Form 7 updated and you didn’t tweak any code in the plugin, you will have no problem with the security because they are following the standard coding for WordPress plugin development. I also suggest that you add Google Recaptcha to your website to avoid spam email.
