Sections Not Showing Up In When Editing

hi

When I am in the Pro editor, 2 sections of my homepage do not show up at all. The only way I can see them is if I go to a separate preview window. Is this normal?

One section is an Essential Grid and the other is an Instagram Feed

Thanks for writing in!

The shortcodes that you added in the raw content element is not showing in the preview. You have added this: [ess_grid alias="food-tours"] and [instagram-feed user="feastthailand"]. The essential grid no longer have a preview in the editor. Even if you use the classic essential grid element, no preview will be displayed. This is to prevent any conflicts or errors with the builder editor. The other shortcode is coming from a 3rd party plugin. Again, it were inserted in a raw content element inside the global block. If you intend to change or edit the raw content element, you can use the skeleton mode in the “Layout” tab. See the image below:

Yes, am aware how to edit the raw element, but was just finding it disconcerting not being able to see a preview of the elements when editing

Hi @guybower1,

That is intentional since 3rd party/plugin scripts can easily conflict with the Content Builder (will cause trouble), this benefits the builder for a couple of things, less conflict and less stress to the builder from running 3rd party scripts, and you won’t be able to edit those 3rd party/plugin elements in the content builder anyway, so its a give and take.
