Section - when added has huge top and bottom padding

Hi there

How can we please change the sections that are added to pages so they have smaller padding/margins than currently

The default setting is 65px top and 65px bottom which is creating a lot of dead space

Your help appreciated

Thanks for writing to us.

To remove the extra space in the section I would suggest you go to the section —>Padding —>you need to remove the padding-top/bottom. Please have a look at the given screenshot given below.

Can we make a global change to the section template that means the padding is less? So we don’t have to change every section we add

Hello Julie,

You can actually make your own custom Section element. Insert a Section element and make sure to set your desired element settings. Find the Gear icon in the upper right corner to manage the element. This is where you can save it as a custom Section element.

After saving it, every time you add a section, click the CMD button or CTRL on Windows to be able to “Add Element” where you can select the saved Section element template like this:
