Section Video background having issues - NOT showing (continued...)

Hi Guys,

I got busy and could not return to this conversation. It’s still not working. I updated the reference URL to be the absolute URL link (https://mireauxglobal.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/SliderVideo_Mireaux.mp4). It WILL show up on desktop display, but NOT on mobile. This is huge problem for the business, because this video is part of their official branding. Let’s really put our heads together and try to figure this out.

Thanks for writing in! I have checked your site on my mobile phone and the video is playing on my mobile phone browsing.

Please clear your mobile phone’s browser cache or use private browsing mode and test your site again.

The issue could just be caused by a plugin or caching. You can do the following:

• Testing For Plugin Conflict
• Disabling Cache
• Disabling Cdn

No, I’ve tried on several other mobile phones and some online mobile test sites and still seeing a large white gap, no video. What could be causing this issue? Have you tried on several sources?

I have also checked your website on my Android mobile phone and found that the background video is working fine. I would suggest you check once by clearing all types of cache once again including the Style Cache from Cornerstone > Settings > System > Clear Style Cache and check in the incognito/private mode of the browser in your mobile.

If that does not help, please mention the device, browser name and version, and also the operating system you are using, that helps us to replicate the issue at our end.

I followed the instructions you gave me, but I can’t see it on my iPhone 13. I check it here: http://mobiletest.me/, and it DOES seem to be showing. It DOES NOT show up when I check it here either… https://geopeeker.com/. Should I try to embed it from a video hosting source (Vimeo or YouTube?)

It worked using Vimeo, it does NOT work very well within X Theme, I was just battling it the whole time. I’ll need to remember next time I need a video background…
