Section Video Background Embed?

Hi

Looking to increase page speed by using Cloudflare.

The video background doesn’t have an embed option. I tried a Cloudflare link but just blank.

Is it only sel-hosted video for backgrounds or do I need to change my Cloudflare settings?

Hello Carl,

Thanks for writing in! The background videos will only accept self hosted or direct video file url. You cannot insert any embedded video code as a background video.

Cloudflare hosted videos do provide a URL link which I also tried. Nothing happened though. Is that what you mean by a direct video file url?

Hello Carl,

As long as your video url looks like this:

• http://example.com/video/filename.mp4
• http://example.com/filename.mp4
• http://example.com/filename.webm
• http://example.com/filename.ogv

This should work as a background video. Any other code will not be considered a direct link.
