Section Divider In Front of Following Section

Hello,

I’m trying to create get my section dividers to look like this and have gotten it as close as it will go…

But, when I add the next section, the point is behind it. So when I have it overlapping, you can’t see the point. In this screen shot, I’ve increased the spacing so you can see that the point is there, but is behind. I want no white space and the point to come on top of the below section to create a similar look to that screen shot.

(Also, if you have any tips on how to recreate the look in the first screenshot better (ie: make the point at a sharper angel, please share).

Thanks for writing in!

The separator is behind the 2nd section because of how it’s z-indexes were laid out. You will have to make sure that the section above has a higher z-index than the section below.

I went ahead and edited the page to show you how the z-indexes affect the separators. In the last section, the z-index should be much higher than the z-index of the footer.

Thank you so much!! I knew it would be something easy. Looks like I need to learn what Z indexes are. There’s always something to learn!
