Section Background Video - Does not resize, ever

I am using a video background for a section that parallaxes - the video is hosted on imgur here: https://i.imgur.com/BKpD1SS.mp4

The video plays and loops wonderfully, though the video BG doesnt resize or scale down when the browser window is size is changed or opened on a smaller device. In fact, it seems locked to a size on its own (does not set full width to browser window on load). I’ve been told that HTML Video for section backgrounds is supposed to be automatically set to the full width on load. Any idea whats going on here?

Hey Kris,

I tested what you described in my site first and it does scale. There is a delay when the video size is recalculated though and the recalculation method seems to reload the video which takes a bit longer depending on where your video is hosted. For instance, the delay in your site is drastic compared to my test site because your video is hosted in Imgur. Try hosting your video in your site.
