The search widget is not finding any search word put in. How can I get this working?

Is the search word present in the content or title of the page or post? Please note that the search widget comes with Wordpress core and whatever you are searching is serving the results through Wordpress.
You might also want to check some plugins like Relevanssi to improve your search results. However, since this is a third party plugin, we cannot provide any support for its setup.
