Search Results Tile

Hi,
Is there anyway to have the search results appear like tiles? Similar to the blog? They appear as one long ugly post at the minute. It’s for www.vitstix.com

Also, can I limit the excert like on a blog. Maybe to a max of 200 characters for example.
