Search Results Layout not Assigning

Hi There,

I have been trying to troubleshoot this for a while with no success! I have created a layout for my search results page (added in the condition). But the layout does not show/load when using the search feature.

Any assistance here would be much appreciated

Website - https://dev.stacked.pro/tfc3 (search bar in top header nav)

Thanks

On further investigation… the layout loads when I search for a random string such as “asdksad”… but when I search for an actual course/page/post… it does not display anything.

For example, please try searching for “care” (I hoped this would load the “Care Certificate”)

Hi James,

Thanks for reaching out.
It seems that the condition for the section is set to show while Provider Output set to is empty and that is why it is visible only when the search result is blank.

If that is the case, please set the condition to is not empty and check if that resolves. If that is not the case, I would suggest you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hi @tristup,

Thanks for your response. I have tried adding in that condition for the 2 sections on this layout, but this does not seem to fix the issue. Please see secure note for access creds.

Thank you.

Hi James,

It seems that the Custom Post Type UI plugin is the reason behind your issue. I have temporarily deactivated it and found the result is showing. If you still required the plugin, I would suggest you contact the plugin author on this.

Please remember that we don’t offer any support on 3rd Party plugins.

Thanks

Thank you @tristup - much appreciated.

Hi James,

Glad that we are able to help you.

Thanks
