when adding search modal in pro header, when performing a search I get only results if the search finds a word in a page title.
How can I get it to display results from the page contents? (all built using pro builder)
I hoped that the default search option would search in the page content, return the page title and an excerpt of the part of the text where the search term was found in.
Unfortunately it seems to only search in the page titles.
So do we really need a plugin to make this work?
I installed relevanssi and it seems to return pages that have content matching the query.
Unfortunately it just returns the page title, not the text with the content that is being searched for (is that even possible?)
Or is it only possible to return manual written excerpts? (how will I enable this for pages?)

The search results will display excerpts only. If the results is coming from pages, you will only see page titles because by default, page excerpts are disabled by WordPress.
It’s Wordpress standard, and it’s not theme related. Pages are usually used as the landing page, where the post is for blog articles and that’s what separates them. And the theme will adhere to the default standard provided by Wordpress.
It still doable, but again, would require customization. Example,

Wordpress made it that way, else, there should be no pages as they will have the same features.
