Hello,

I am having issues with X Pro “Search Modal” in the navbar. It looks great however the engine in the background does not search the entire site. It only searches what is found in the navbar. Is there any way to circumvent this issue?

Thanks for writing in.

You mean it only displays the results that are equal to the pages/posts present in your menu? The search is done by Wordpress internally and I’m not sure what’s the relation of the modal on it yet, would you mind providing your site’s URL and admin login credentials in a secure note?

I could not figure out which php file was driving the search results. I ended up using a third-party plugin called Relevanssi which gets the trick done. So far I have not experienced any issues with the plugin.

However now I am at the point where I need to modify the search results page. I am at the same point again, where I cannot locate the current template file.

Hi there,

Our theme does not have a template file for the search result page and it uses the normal WordPress results. That is why if you want to customize that page you need to install a Child Theme and create a search result page following the instructions below:

You can use the file below and copy/paste the content of it to the search result template file to have a starting point:

wp-content/themes/x/framework/views/global/_index.php

Hi there,

Kindly please open up a separate thread and give us detailed information about the case alongside your website login information. Give us an example search term which you think is not showing the result correctly for more investigation.
