Search in side menu

[sarahlouisewaterhouse]

Hi, I need to put a search in my menu which is a side menu. If I use the search which would normally show on a navbar, it shows in the header, which doesn’t work for the design. I need it with the menu
Please can you tell me how to put the search into my side menu.
Thanks

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! If you want to add a search in your sidebar, you can simply go to your WordPress dashboard, Appearance > Widgets. Drag the Search widget into your main sidebar area. This should allow you to display the search widget in the sidebar.

Hope this helps.
