Search function in header

The search function is not performing correctly - there appears to be two functions operating at the same time

When you look at the site on mobile it is showing the search as blue?

How can we get rid of this and preserve the white one that shows clearly in desktop mode/view?

Thanks for the reply - I have stripped out the search functionality altogether …

but I need help with getting the magnifying glass back at the right hand side of the header menu and we want the search results to show page searches first, ahead of articles or news or posts? Can this be done?

Hi Julie,

You can get the Magnifying Glass icon by enabling the Search Option from the Theme Options > Header > Search Option as shown in the given screenshot.

But to show the pages first, you required some customization which is beyond the scope of Theme Support. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you in doing the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One TOTAL CARE, where we offer small customizations
