Hi!
A search for something non-existing on my custom 404 page should not lead to the ugly default 404 page. How do make it lead to custom 404 again instead?

Hello @Lobsterass,
Thanks for writing in! You will need to go to Pro > Validation > Extensions and install Custom 404 extension. This extension will allow you to create a normal page in Pro Editor and then assign that page as your custom 404 page in Pro > Custom 404. To learn more about this extension, please check this out:
Hope this helps.
That is exactly what I did. Did you try my link to my custom 404 page? Again, the problem is that the search box on the custom 404 page leads to a regular automatic 404 page in case the user search for something non-existing in the search box. Please try again.
Hi @Lobsterass,
Sorry for the confusion, but are you referring to this?
That is not a 404 page, that is a Search Result page it has its own template (different from 404 page template).
The only way to edit the search result page is through template customization. You can’t edit it through the builder since it’s Wordpress generated page. You can find more information here, but that’s just general knowledge to create search.php template, redirection may not work since it’s static, and search URL could vary. You may consult it with a developer to have a fully functioning custom search result page.
You can follow this guide here for applying a custom header on the search result page.
Thanks for understanding.
Great, thanx!
Hey rockstars, I posted another question 5 days ago here 1fr high row in custom grid is not displaying correctly. Could somebody please reply to me? The site is about to go live tomorrow.
Sorry about that, I’ve replied to that topic, that topic is posted on the General forum (not Support forum) that’s why it did not get to us.
Cheers!
