Search does what?

Hi,

What does the nav bar search actually search for? I am creating a website full of manufacturing products and I need to be able to search on the name of the product, and the product code. Search doesn’t seem to bring up page content. Is it only looking at the actual page name in the URL? Is there a way to change this?

Thanks for writing in!
Changing the search default search query need custom development.
Here is a plugin which may help you on changing the way of search that you want.

However this is not an official recommendation, you try other option too.
