Search 360 Upgrade to X

Hi Theme X folks,

We’re still sailing along using Theme X on year 6 across 4-5 sites. Still loving it, and feel safer and safer with each update.

But, I want to add a better search this fall.

Crawled and weighted searches are an awesome thing for a site - and I want to add it to ours. Especially with buddypress, right? It can do a big crawl that is much more robust than the available search plugins.

However, it appears that Theme X redoes the search enough - that the Search 360 WP plugin doesn’t take over the modal window like it does in typical instances of Wordpress.

Have you done any of these integrations yet? I’m in discussion with them now (it’s a paid service) to figure out how to provision their search.

I am hoping there are recommendations to get the modal of Theme X to send a standard WP search query so they can overwrite it with the standard hooks?

What about just the factory wordpress search?

The default WordPress search is already integrated with the themes. Please let us know if you are specifying anything particular.
