Scrolling Issue on iPhones

Hello, we’re having a major scrolling issue on one of our websites. I’ve looked through the support forum and am having a hard time finding a solution for this. Everything is up-to-date. we’ve tried implementing the smooth scroll plugin. We tried changing the menu settings from a set height to a percentage. (A solution I found when searching in the forum.) We can’t seem to find a good solution and client is getting frusterated. We would really appreciate any advice that can be provided to come up with a solution.

I have a video recording that my coworker made with her iphone, but am unable to upload it.

Hi Sarah,

Thank you for writing in, but you have a lot of websites associated with your account, please provide us the site URL so we can take a closer look. You can upload a video to a video sharing site (like Youtube) and just share us the link.

In the meantime, the scrolling issue is commonly caused by the insufficient height of the bar. Please check all your bar’s height (footer and header bar) and make sure its enough to accommodate its content.

Also, it can be caused by a 3rd party plugin, please do a Testing for Plugin Conflict

Cheers,

Hello, my apologizes… this is the website I’m referring to: http://baysideboatbarns.rhdproofs.com/

We typically use the same combination of plugins that we’ve found work well with the theme. So I don’t htink it’s that, but will double check.

This website was designed to allow the logo to hang over the header image… do you think that could the cause of the issue?

I wanted to add an update that I have enlarged the menu so that it accomdates all the content. My coworker said that on her iPhone, that when our proofing site comes up as ‘Not Secure’, the site doesn’t scroll. However, once it changes to reader view, it will scroll. Could the scrolling issues be related to not having the SSL certificate setup yet?

Hey Sarah,

I believe the issue is happening because of your last section’s setup (the green section). inspect your last section in Content Builder, go to it’s Row settings and set the Gap Height to 0 currently it is set to 1

This should resolve the scrolling issue on phones. Let us know how this goes!
