Scrolling issue > invisible bar in Header and cutting off image on site

Hi there,

I have recently edited my Header and inserted an invisible bar with a button (please see screenshots of the button “Kontaktformular” and the settings of the bar in the attached images).

The bar seems fine and the button is hidden initially and then is showing after scrolling down a bit.
Only problem is, when I scroll down - there is a certain jump and the banner image below is cut off. Please replicate when scrolling down on www.holyrecipe.com

Can you please have a look and let me know what else I can try?

Hey Aline,

The Height under the Dimensions setting is set to auto. For sticky bars, Height must be declared like 35px.

The Initial Position in your screenshot is Relative but the output is Absolute. I can see that in the code. If the suggestion above doesn’t work, try setting the Bar to Relative too.

If none of that helps, please give us the following info in a Secure Note

• WordPress Login URL
• Admin username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Unfortunately it has not worked, also I was not sure what to do with the other bars, whcih are sticky too.

Pro 5.1.4 is now available in automatic updates! This release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (https://theme.co/docs/changelog/pro-5). Please do update to the latest version first before we continue to troubleshoot. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Hey Aline,

It looks like you didn’t follow my suggestion previously. Your sticky bars are still using auto for their Height.

For sticky bars, Height must be declared

In order to show you that my suggestion works, I’ve set a fixed height for the sticky bars. Kindly check the video in the secure note.
