Scroll to section scrolls to the middle of the section

Hello,
I have set up icons that scroll to a section of the page but it is scrolling to the middle of the section. I would like it to scroll to the beginning of each section. Please advise. It’s the blue icons in the organization section.

Thanks for writing in! I have inspected the page and I found out that you only have one section. You added the IDs in the row settings. It is best that you edit your page and add the contents in each section separately. Each section should contain the IDs that you used as the anchor links.

ok, I set up the last three icons as sections. ( Community outreach, public information and support services)
Unfortunately, it is still doing it. :slightly_frowning_face:

Hey @Jennine,

This might have something to do with the offset bug in the latest version of our Pro. Please try the following:

  • Download the Stability release in your license page and uninstall Pro in your site then install the Stability release.

    If this solves the issue, this means that what you’re experiencing is a bug in the latest version so what you need to do is to kindly wait for the next release as a fix will be included in the next theme update.

  • If that doesn’t help, switch to the parent theme.

If none of that helps, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

ok if i download and install the stability theme will the work that I already did to the template stay the same?

Hey @Jennine,

I’m not sure if it will work but it is worth a try.

The templates will be the same but it would be safe that you back your site up so you have something to revert too if something goes wrong.

Thank goodness I backed it up because when I went to the older version the site was completely out of whack. I had to revert it back. I will attach the secure note. Thank you

Hey @Jennine,

Thank you for providing the credentials. I checked your setup and it was your sticky setup of the Bar which was causing the issue. I went ahead and changed the Shrink Amount to 1 under Sticky Setup and this has resolved the issue (see screenshot)
