Scroll Problem on iPhone

Hello,

We noticed a scroll problem on iPhone with Theme Pro. As you can see on the video (link below), it kind of sticks when the user try to scroll in another direction. How can we fix the problem ? Does it come from Theme Pro or for something specific on our website?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

What device you’re testing it with? I can’t tell from the video because of the quality. But I do checked it on my android phone and in iPad/iPhone 6 and it’s scrolling with no issue.

But yes, I noticed some nudging from the first load at is loads the images and other assets as I scroll.

Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks for your answer. I’ve tested on iPhone 5s, IPhone 6, and iPad, with the last version of Safari. We’ve noticed the problem all the time.

Do you know how to fix this problem? This is really annoying and not really acceptable for the user.

Thanks,
Antoine

Hi there,

The same here, I checked it on iPad Pro and iPhone 6 and there is no problem with scrolling similar in your video. I’ll keep on checking, as of now, there is no fix available since I’m not sure what’s the issue.

Thanks.

Thanks for the update. This is really strange that the problem with scrolling appears on one iPhone 6 device but not with the other one. If you need any other details to help you understand what the problem could be, please let me know.

Hello,
I’m having the same problem in Safari on iPhone 7
Please advise

Hello,

We’ve done some more test on iPhone 6s and 5c (iOS 10.3.3) and we have the same problem, so that the website is barely useable. This is quite a big problem and I would really appreciate to get a solution.

Hello,

One thing I’m noticing that might be causing the issue is what appears to be a hidden ConvertPlug modal which is fixed above all your content, but hidden visually. While it is set to display: none as well as visibility: hidden, I’m curious if the lack of some additional CSS properties like pointer-events: none might be causing the issue. Can you please try disabling ConvertPlug to see if that has any effect on the scrolling behavior? I have tested this locally on a development installation and cannot achieve the same effects with an iPhone I have here, so it could be something different between the environments, which most readily seems to be the presence of the ConvertPlug markup.
