Scripts not working after upgrading to Pro

Hi there,

I recently upgraded from X to Pro and then my scripts on some of the pages stopped working.

They were referenced in the JS script part in cornerstone, but now they’ve stopped working.

What can be causing this?

Thanks for writing in!

If you are using a child theme please remove the JS to the child theme.
Also can you confirm, if you have delete the cornerstone? as Pro doesn’t need cornerstone any more.

Hope this fixes your issue, if not please send us your website details and the page where you have the script so that we can have a look.

Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • FTP credentials

Yes, Cornerstone is deleted and no longer on the site. Sorry, but I don’t know what you mean by

"f you are using a child theme please remove the JS to the child theme. " I am using a child theme, do you mean put the JS in the childtheme?

Anyway I have given you a secure note with admin login.

I have been able to get the scripts working, but it’s been by putting the script details at the bottom of the page instead of using the special PRO “JS” area of the page.

If that area could work, please let me know.

Hi there,

It can be placed anywhere as long as it works :slight_smile:

But, I still understand the issue. The only script that I’m seeing is the one added in Theme Options. And it’s only normal and recommended to place scripts in the bottom then CSS on top (<head>).
