Script conflicts

Hi there

I created a new cornerstone page from wordpress. Immediately it says there are scripts conflicts…

Please could you check everything is ok?

I have a feeling my function.php file might have caused a problem…I modified this file (in the child theme to add a pinterest metatag…). I also have a fb pixel code in there… Could that be the problem, or is there something wrong with my cornerstone?

Thank you

Hey,

You can remove this custom code added to check if it fixes your problem. Try to disable all of the plugins (except the X plugins) to check if there are any plugin conflict.

ok. I’ll remove the pinterest bit first. Thanks, will let you know.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi John and Jade

Thanks for your reply and thanks for checking in, I appreciate it.

I took out the pinterest metatag from the function.php file and I deactivated all my plugins apart from Cornerstone.

The problem still persists: whenever I go in Wordpress to “make new page” and then select the “edit with cornerstone” tab, I get the message “Hey, it took long to load there might be a scripts conflict”. It looks like this only happens with new pages I try to create, not when opening my existing ones.

What kind of script conflict could this be? I’m a bit puzzled and look forward to hearing from you. Can you help?

Thanks

Hi there,

I’m not sure, but I can check it to see what’s causing it. Would you mind providing your site’s URL then admin and FTP login credentials in a secure note?

Thanks!

Hi Rad thank you so much. I’ve left you a secure note.

Hi there,

It’s due to missing background image set under X > Launch > Options > Layout and Design, I went ahead and removed it.

That message is now gone

Cheers!

Thank you very much Rad! I’ll keep that in mind if it happens in the future.
